The HTML Block

The Panel is a block that allows you to paste in html or javascrit code, and move the content around your webpage just like any other block. The Panel, as well as the HTML block are both recommended for advanced users. It is extremely easy to enter a malformed or hazardous scripts into your webpage, and encounter some major problems. Ask for help if you need it.
 
That being said, before adding a script to your page, it’s a good idea to save or publish a version of your webpage that you are happy with. Then in the event of a problem, you can roll back your page to an undamaged version.

Using the Panel block is extremely easy: type or paste your HTML or javascript code into the area provided. For this example we’re using the code for a twitter widget. On their website, Twitter allows you to customize a twitter box by adjusting certain criteria such as the size, color, and what type of content it shows. At the end of the process there’s a window filled with a code. Copy that and paste it into an HTML block.

Panels behave differently than HTML blocks. HTML blocks present content with no additional formatting, while code contained in a panel will be framed by a small border, and an optional title.
